Diamant is proudly participating in the construction of Banja Hydropower Plant, an important hydroelectricity project situated on top of Devoll River, 25 km from Elbasan and 15 km from Gramsh. The development of this HPP, projected over 30 years ago, is expected to have a huge impact on the Albanian economy, and is due to be finished and start operating by the second half of 2016.

During the last few months, Diamant has successfully carried out the transportation of some oversized loads that were essential in the construction of this plant, such as materials in 3.8 meters in width and 4.5 meters in height. The company made use of its expertise in retrieving special permits and escorting the trucks to Banja, a mountainous and rather hazardous area in the district of Elbasan.
